You’ll Get To Do
- Act as delegate for and execute the priorities of the Sentinel VP Chief Engineer.
- Ensure the program is adhering to sound engineering processes in the development, production, test and sustainment of products for our customers and is in compliance with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Oversee and ensure technical, cost, and schedule performance measures are being met. Particular focus is given to Key Performance Parameters and Technical Performance Measures
- Provide leadership to the Sentinel Office of Chief Engineer (OCE) team
- Coordinate with OCE team, systems engineering and program operations to ensure execution of the program statement of work. Includes technical development, advisement, and trade study resolution as required.
- Supports Program Management Team (PMT) meetings, including but not limited to:
Technical Review Board (TRB), Weapons System Working Group (WSWG), Configuration Control Board (CCB), Program management Review (PMR), Scrumban, Risk & Opportunity Board. - Dedicated technical leadership on Major Program Events (MPE’s), initially focused on execution to a successful Path Finder and First Flight.
- Dedicated Office of Chief Engineer (OCE) support to Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) strategy, including technical development, advisement, and trade study resolution as required.
- Horizontally focused on resolving high‑level Systems challenges.
- Ensures integration of overall technical plan within the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Support strategic SDS Sector initiatives on tools, processes, and cross‑program technical reviews.
- Champion long term strategic technical objectives within Sentinel and at the sector level.
- Supports strategically valuable technical interchange meetings with Sentinel partners.
- Support hardware and deliverable focused deep dives in all product Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Identify opportunities for and support of engagement activities across all IPTs.
- Identify and mentor high potential technical leaders and OCE bench candidates.
- Provide advisement to all IPT Leads (as required) and embedded Chief Engineers.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master’s in STEM and 8 years’ of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience formally leading engineering teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
- Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years
