Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and prioritizing hardware security threats.
- Conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk analysis for mission‑critical functions and components.
- Supporting courses of action based on regulations and policies.
- Researching, analyzing data, and deriving facts for identified vulnerabilities.
- Participating in working groups and customer meetings to communicate risk environment with stakeholders.
- Contributing to program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones for Hardware Assurance.
- Reviewing technical security assessments of SSE environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Executing completion Statement of Work requirements, program milestone exit criteria, and program maturity commitments.
- Ensuring architecture and design of systems are functional and secure; supporting design, development, implementation, and integration of security systems and components.
- Acting as a self‑starter with strong time‑management skills and the ability to anticipate future challenges.
- Supporting MDT with other duties as assigned.
- U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance (investigation date within the last 6 years).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (or master’s degree with ≥1 year experience) and at least 2 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years applying and understanding Systems Security Engineering principles in U.S. Government Defense Programs.
- Minimum 2 years of clear communication skills and presentation experience.
- Experience in ASIC and FPGA design life cycles, including HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and RTL implementation.
- Team‑player, multi‑tasking, independent work with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
- ICBM experience.
- Experience developing System Security Engineering requirements for hardware and software assurance.
- Evaluation of program processes and compliance for large, multi‑site programs.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools.
- Understanding of Program Protection in U.S. Government Defense Programs and application of SSE principles across security measures.
- Top Secret clearance.

Standard work schedule: 9/80.
Salary range: $77,200 – $115,800 (USD). Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply.
