- The selected candidate will provide Systems Engineering support for the Navigation Inertial Measurement System (NIMS) Supplier Management Team (SMT), in the Sentinel Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Organization
- Support the GN&C NIMS SMT for requirements, interfaces, architecture, mechanical/electrical design integration, and more to aid in the preparation for NIMS hardware deliveries and Major Program Event campaigns with current focus on Critical Design Review (CDR) and first flight preparation
- The selected candidate will be embedded in the GN&C NIMS SMT, working closely with the supplier and greater GN&C IPT Engineering teams, in support of the SMT lead and NIMS technical lead, to ensure sound engineering procedures and products
Required for Both Levels:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
Requirements management/analysis/allocations including the use of DOORS or equivalent;
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or Magic
DRAW;
Interface development experience;
Architecture development experience;
Verification including verification method determination, RVAM development
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years experience with a Master of Science degree; 1 year experience with a PhD
- 4+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
Requirements management/analysis/allocations including the use of DOORS or equivalent;
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or Magic
DRAW;
Interface development experience;
Architecture development experience;
Verification including verification method determination, RVAM development
