LocationRoy, Utah
RoleStructural Engineer supporting the Sentinel program, part of the Sentinel Infrastructure Analysis Team. This full‑time position may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Responsibilities- Analyze, research and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non‑metallic or composite materials for product design and operation.
- Support product design for structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs.
- Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling.
- Apply structural engineering specialties such as dynamics and loads, stability, stress fatigue and thermal analysis.
- Utilize tools including CATIA, IDEAS, Pro Engineer and other software applications.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. The standard work schedule is a 9/80.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience; or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, investigation date within the last 5 years.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Experience running dynamic and/or static analysis.
- Experience in ABAQUS, ANSYS, FEMAP (with Nastran).
- Experience in programming and use of MATLAB (or equivalent) for analysis and data manipulation.
- Proficient writer and able to verbally communicate technical content.
- Proficiency with ABAQUS, FEMAP, and ANSYS.
- Exposure to structural test applications.
- Experience with seismic analysis (ASCE
7). - Exposure to missiles program requirements & propulsion.
- Navigate through NX 3D models and CPLM.
- Team Center CPLM experience.
