Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed‑upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses
• Preparation of expenditure projections
• Incorporating contractual changes into control systems
• Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required
• Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
• Participating in month‑end cost reporting close activities

• Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
• Requires a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business‑related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
• Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, VBA and/or Macros)
• Requires experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools
• 1 year experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principles and applying Earned Value Techniques; using EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6) (EVM Certification will be accepted in lieu of one year experience)

• Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
• Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
