Oracle/ DB2 Administrator (Hybrid Utah)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle and DB2 to join our team. The DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance optimization of enterprise databases that support critical business operations. This role requires both technical depth and strong collaboration skills to ensure database reliability, security, and scalability.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of database administration experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2 UDB, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational database architecture.
- Experience with backup/recovery procedures and database administration tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
- Capable of understanding and resolving complex issues.
- Leadership skills with the ability to direct team efforts and manage projects successfully.
- Proficient in comprehending and working with multi-program, multi-dimensional systems.
