Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Staff Cloud Dev Ops Engineer who will take part in the design, build, deploy, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and infrastructure to help the Digital Ecosystem Segment store data, run applications, and manage IT services efficiently and securely. In this position you will:
* Take part in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.

* Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

* Automate operational processes and implement the best tools and technologies to support development and operations.

* Develop and enforce best practices for system security and compliance holistically throughout the environment.

* Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis, to resolve system issues.

* Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure system health and performance.

* Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth integration of new software releases

* Mentor other team members, providing technical leadership on infrastructure strategy, automating complex workflows, optimizing system performance, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams

Basic Qualifications:

* 12 Years experience with Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study; or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

* Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval

* Currently holds an IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01 such as CompTIA Security+ CE
