Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support Advanced Programs in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.

This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications below.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Coordinate with engineering to decompose scope and develop the program's schedule baseline

* Work within a team environment consisting of program management, technical, production, financial and other supporting staff

* Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality

* Performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts

* Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

* Support on contract efforts and proposal schedule along with NCTA efforts

* Support delivery of an IPMDAR Basic Qualifications This position may be filled at a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level or at a Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level
* Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's; 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma may be accepted in lieu of degree)
* Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

* Requires experience working with Level 1 EV

* Requires experience working with Primavera

* Requires experience in Program Cost Analysis and Program Scheduling

* Requires experience with Schedule Analytics

* Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel(including Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and/or Macros)

Preferred Qualifications
* Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

* Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience

* Experience with other EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)

* Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment

* Experience in cost management

* Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) tools

* Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines

* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

* Experience working IPMDAR deliverable
