Senior Category Manager – Warehouse Relocation Project

18-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to support the procurement activity for a major warehouse relocation and logistics transformation project
.

This role will focus on commercial sourcing and supplier management across the key areas required to successfully deliver the move to a new distribution centre
.

You will work closely with the programme team, operations leaders and project managers to ensure the right suppliers, contracts and commercial frameworks are in place to support the build, fit-out and operational transition.

You will lead procurement activity across several areas linked to the set-up and launch of a new warehouse / DC
, including:

• Warehouse fit-out and infrastructure
• Logistics and transport services
• Technology and operational systems
• Facilities and operational services
• General project and operational suppliers

• Procurement experience across logistics, warehousing or operational services
• Experience supporting large projects, transformation programmes or site relocations
• Ability to run tenders, supplier selection and commercial negotiations
• Strong stakeholder engagement with operations, project and finance teams
• A practical, delivery-focused approach to procurement

This is a hands‑on role within a major supply chain project
, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and delivering tangible outcomes.
