Advanced Scaffolder – Warwickshire

VGC Group are looking for an experienced Advanced Scaffolder to begin on a project in Warwickshire. This permanent contract is available to start as soon as possible and offers up to 2 years of work. Pay is £26.17 per hour PAYE.

Experience required: 2 years +

• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card
• SSSTS/SMSTS

• Assemble scaffolding in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures, including metal pipes, wooden planks, and other materials.
• Use hand and power tools to securely connect scaffolding components.
• Implement safety measures such as guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets.
• Plan scaffolding layout and placement to meet project requirements.
• Ensure scaffolding can support the weight of workers, materials, and equipment safely.
• Calculate and manage the load‑bearing capacity of scaffolding structures.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Regularly inspect and maintain scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
