We are working exclusively with an established specialist in off-site construction. They are seeking a Design Manager to support continued business growth and an expanding project portfolio. Working on complex building projects, including high-profile technical facilities, this role would suit an experienced design professional with strong BIM expertise, proven design coordination capability and the leadership skills to support multidisciplinary teams.
As a Design Manager, you will:
Lead and manage the design process across multiple building projects
Coordinate and integrate design activities across architectural, production and technical disciplines
Manage design programmes, ensuring delivery against project requirements and deadlines
Oversee BIM workflows and model coordination throughout project life cycles
Identify, resolve and mitigate technical and construction-related design challenges
Collaborate with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
Review design documentation for quality, compliance and consistency
Support and develop design team capability while promoting continuous improvement
Experience
Required:
Experience in Design Management, Project Design Management or a similar leadership role within the built environment
Strong background delivering building design projects from concept through completion
Advanced Revit capability and practical BIM management experience
Thorough understanding of ISO 19650 standards and digital delivery processes
Degree qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline
