Year 3​/4 Class Teacher AUT TERM

Class Teacher Year 3 & 4 – Milverton Primary School

We are looking for a full‑time class teacher for a Year 3 & 4 class for the Autumn Term 2026.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Year 3 & 4 students, delivering the national curriculum and supporting pupils’ learning and development.
• Design and deliver a 30‑minute lesson during the selection day.
• Complete the short task given on the day and participate in a formal interview.
• Work closely with experienced teachers in the phase team and contribute to the positive ethos of the school.

• Demonstrates an enthusiasm for teaching creatively.
• Puts children at the heart of everything they do.
• Has high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour.
• Shares and supports the school's positive ethos.
• Demonstrates excellent communication with colleagues and parents.
• Is a qualified teacher; M1–M6 or ECTs are welcome.
• Has a clean enhanced disclosure certificate.

• A supportive leadership team that prioritises wellbeing.
• Motivated, friendly and well‑behaved children.
• Subject leadership aligned with the successful candidate’s aspirations.
• Professional and highly skilled support staff.
• A supportive, involved and committed Governing Body.
• Resources and inspiration to help children achieve their full potential.
• Parents willing to support children’s progress.
