Protocol Education is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Kingston upon Thames.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils in reaching their individual goals.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Experience in education, care, youth work, or support work is beneficial but not essential.
