We are seeking a highly organised, professional and friendly School Administrator to join our primary school team in September 2026, based in the school office from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm with a one‑hour lunch, term time only. This varied and rewarding role is at the heart of school life. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, visitors and external agencies, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school office while providing a warm and professional service.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and IT skills and the ability to manage a busy workload with efficiency, discretion and attention to detail. Responsibilities include supporting attendance, admissions, communications and wider school operations.
Key Requirements- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Calm, welcoming and professional front‑of‑house service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence using IT systems and managing records accurately.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, staff and external agencies.
Previous experience in a school environment and knowledge of SIMS and Parent Pay is advantageous, but not essential; training will be provided.
