Are you looking for a rewarding Lecturer in Countryside Management & Land-based Studies opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?

The college is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Countryside Management & Land-based Studies on a full-time temporary to permanent basis with an Immediate Start. The successful Lecturer in Countryside Management & Land-based Studies will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, support learners aged 16 to 18, assess student progress and promote safe working practices whilst developing students' technical skills and knowledge across countryside management and land-based programmes.

The

successful Lecturer in Countryside Management & Land-based Studies will have:
  • A Level 5 or above qualification in Countryside Management, Land-based Studies, Agriculture, Ecology, Forestry or a related subject
  • GCSE Grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • A recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one
  • Practical industry experience within countryside management or a related land-based sector
  • Experience delivering accredited qualifications and supporting learners within an FE or land-based education environment is desirable
  • Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, with a passion for the countryside and supporting learner success
