Responsibilities- Lead mechanical engineering activities across multi-disciplinary product development projects
- Deliver innovative mechanical solutions using CAD, CAE and analytical modelling
- Oversee project delivery, budgets, timelines and client communication
- Mentor and support junior Mechanical Engineers, reviewing and guiding their work
- Develop prototypes and test rigs using both low-volume and high-volume manufacturing technologies
- Work closely with electronics, software, design and research teams to integrate mechanical systems
- Support the full product lifecycle from feasibility and concept generation through to manufacturing and launch
- Degree (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Development Engineer
- Proven background in product design, mechanical development, CAD/CAE
, engineering analysis and prototyping - Experience working with a range of materials and manufacturing processes, including injection moulding and rapid prototyping
- Ability to lead engineering work streams and manage client relationships
- Demonstrated success delivering complex mechanical engineering solutions
- Strong mechanical problem-solving skills with a creative, practical approach
- Eligible to work in the UK k
