An established building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a hybrid working basis, based out of their Leamington Spa office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to take on a senior, technically‑led role, working across a varied portfolio of building services projects and playing a key part in the design and delivery process from concept through to completion.

Based in Leamington Spa, this role would suit an experienced mechanical engineer ready to step into a senior, client‑facing position within a firm that values technical excellence.

• Lead mechanical design across a range of building services projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Produce and review detailed mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for clients and project teams.
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers within the team.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs.
• Ensure designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards.

• A degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in mechanical building services design at a senior level.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, IES, Hevacomp).
• Chartered status (or working towards, e.g., CIBSE) preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Salary of £55,000–£65,000, dependent on experience.
