Key Responsibilities

* Develop new and existing products from concept through to detailed design, testing and production.
* Improve existing products with a focus on DFM, cost reduction, material selection and performance.
* Design components and assemblies for different manufacturing processes, including castings, injection moulding and machining.
* Work with operations and manufacturing teams to develop test equipment and production solutions.
* Support engineering changes and continuous improvement projects.
* Carry out calculations and design studies to check and validate designs.
* Work closely with different teams throughout product development and product launches.
* Support CMM and metrology inspection of new and existing components.
* Investigate design and manufacturing issues and help identify practical solutions.
Essential Experience
* At least 2 years' experience as a Design Engineer, CAD Engineer or in a similar role.
* Experience using Solid Works and Solid Works PDM.
* Experience designing components and assemblies for manufacture.
* Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, ideally including castings, injection moulding and machining.
* Good understanding of DFM and engineering design principles.
Hours & Working Pattern
* 4 days per week in the office in Leamington Spa.
* 36.5 hours per week.
* Very flexible working hours, with flexible start and finish times.
* As long as you complete your 36.5 hours each week, there is flexibility around when you start and finish your working day
