Mortgage Adviser — Self-Employed (Commission Basis)

We're a well-established, local Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm with a large and loyal high-net-worth client bank. Our long-standing mortgage adviser is transitioning to wealth advice, and we're looking for an experienced, self-driven mortgage adviser to take over.

You'll be working on a fully self-employed basis, controlling your own working hours and cultivating your client bank. We have an office in Leamington Spa and flexible working is welcomed. You'll lead the mortgage proposition, and for the right candidate there's a clear path to head it up entirely, with genuine future equity potential on the table as you build it.

• Tiered commission splits that reward growth — on your own mortgage business, your split rises as you build, up to 77.5%, with essential business operating costs covered. The threshold you finish the year on is where you start the next, so we back consistent producers rather than resetting you each year.
• Start-up support — for the right candidate, a commission advance may be available to ease the transition, negotiated individually.
• A warm pipeline of high-net-worth referrals — a regular flow of introductions from our wealth advisers on a supported split, on top of the business you generate yourself.
• Full ownership of the clients you introduce — mortgage clients you bring to New Road remain yours, with no non-solicit period if you ever move on.
• A real seat at the table — the opportunity to lead the mortgage division and, in time, share in the equity of the business you help grow.
• The support of an established IFA brand — credibility, infrastructure, and a quality client base behind you, with the autonomy of a self-employed adviser in front of you.

• 3+ years' experience as a mortgage adviser
  , with a proven track record of generating your own business.
• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), ideally already holding Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
• Comfortable advising high-net-worth clients and confident handling more complex cases.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial — you treat the role as your own business and want to build something.
• Strong relationship skills, a professional manner, and the ambition to step up and lead.
