We are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting commercial growth, forecasting, contract negotiations, and financial decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, working in a fast-paced environment, and turning complex financial information into meaningful commercial insight.
This is a fixed term contract role to cover maternity leave.
What you'll be doingYou'll work closely with Sales, Legal, Revenue and Contract teams to provide robust financial support throughout the sales and contracting lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning processes
- Analysing bookings performance and commercial trends
- Developing financial models for upsell opportunities and customer scenarios
- Supporting contract negotiations with financial insight and risk assessment
- Reviewing and approving commercial quotations
- Maintaining contract finance schedules, pricing models, and commission calculations
- Supporting bid reviews, pre-sales opportunities, and framework modelling
- Providing commercial analysis and recommendations to improve processes and decision-making
- Contributing to CRM and finance system improvement projects
We're seeking someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong accounting experience, ideally within a commercial or sales-facing environment
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or significant management accounting experience
- Experience producing management reporting, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Strong Excel and finance systems expertise
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving
