Specialty Doctor - Breast Surgery

This is a full-time post of 40 hours per week, attracting 10 PAs. Sessions will include outpatient clinics in both Warwick hospital and Stratford hospital, operating theatre, a multi-disciplinary meeting, and clinical administration. It is expected that a minimum of 8 sessions will be assigned to direct clinical care., The exact job plan will be agreed in conjunction with the post holder following appointment.

The Warwick breast team is a well-regarded team treating around 280 breast cancers per year. There are 4 onco-plastic breast consultants offering a wide range of onco-plastic and breast reconstructive procedures. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the breast team was based in a purpose-built unit with consultant radiology support providing immediate reporting. There are close links with the Coventry screening unit who join us for the breast MDT meeting.
