Join us for an exciting 18‑month project supporting a large, dynamic organisation through key payroll activity, system enhancements and continuous improvement work. ⭐ What You'll Be Doing

In this fast‑paced, high‑profile role, you will:

Lead monthly payroll processing activities for a workforce of over 4,000 colleagues.
Support tax year end, P11

Ds and statutory reporting deadlines.
Help shape and improve payroll processes, controls and service standards.
Contribute to system upgrades and technology enhancements.
Act as a trusted expert for all payroll queries and compliance matters.
Analyse payroll data, spot anomalies and drive corrective action.
Work closely with pensions, HR and finance partners to ensure seamless delivery.

⭐ What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

Strong UK payroll knowledge and experience managing complex, high‑volume payrolls.
Hands‑on experience with statutory reporting (Tax Year End, P11

Ds, Payrolling Benefits).
Good working knowledge of payroll systems (Resource Link experience a bonus).
Excellent attention to detail and confidence analysing payroll data.
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to manage queries independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.

A recognised payroll qualification-or working towards one-is a plus, but not essential.
