As an SAP S/4

HANA SD / TM Consultant
, you will support SAP BAU operations and design, implement, and support SAP Transportation Management solutions on the S/4

HANA platform.

You will work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimise transportation planning and execution processes. This role requires strong functional expertise across SAP SD and SAP TM, with the ability to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions aligned to business requirements.

• Support SAP BAU activities and implement and configure SAP S/4
  
  HANA TM for transportation planning, execution, and freight management.
• Analyse business requirements and design solutions for carrier selection, freight booking, route optimisation, and shipping execution.
• Integrate SAP TM with SD, MM, LE, EWM, and external carrier systems through APIs, B2B interfaces, or middleware connectors.
• Configure transportation master data including transportation lanes, zones, resources, schedules, and freight agreements.
• Manage and configure planning profiles, charge management, freight settlement, and cost distribution processes.
• Support freight order, freight unit, and transportation cockpit-based planning and execution.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and process knowledge transfer for transport planners and logistics teams.
• Troubleshoot transportation planning issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure system performance and data accuracy.
• Support testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, and participate in cutover and go-live support.
• Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient shipment execution and end-to-end transportation visibility.

Essential skills / knowledge / experience.

• Hands-on experience in SAP SD, with strong implementation exposure in SAP S/4
  
  HANA SD and SAP Transportation Management.
• Strong experience in SAP TM on the HANA platform.
• Expertise in transportation planning and execution, freight order management, and charge calculation.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP ECC or S/4
  
  HANA modules including SD, MM, and LE.
• Hands-on experience with PI or CPI integration for external carrier and logistics systems.
• Strong understanding of transportation processes across logistics and supply chain domains.
• Strong understanding of SAP TM integration with SD, EWM, and FI.
• Strong configuration knowledge of sales order management, deliveries, billing, pricing procedures, condition techniques, output determination, credit management, and FI integration.
• Solid understanding of organisational structures and master data design in S/4
  
  HANA.
• Experience configuring transportation cockpits, planning profiles, and execution strategies.
• Experience working with SAP S/4
  
  HANA Embedded TM in high-volume logistics environments.
• Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management and end-to-end logistics integration.
• Working knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services, Event Management, or Advanced ATP.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori Launchpad administration, catalogue and role setup, and application extensibility.
