Maintenance/Cleaning
Cleaning Services, Janitor
Monday to Friday 6pm start until 8pm £12.21 per hour.
Term time only, 39‑week term time and 3 weeks deep cleaning during school holidays, exact dates to be confirmed.
You will be working in part of a small team of cleaners and will be responsible for your own part of the school.
You will also be responsible for making sure that the school is locked at the end of the shift (so someone who is responsible and confident as a key holder), and also putting the bins out when necessary. Experience is preferred. Full training will be given by the dedicated Area Manager.
PPE/company polo shirts and pinnies provided.
Monthly Pay.
Other duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning corridors and toilets. Previous experience is preferred but full training will be given.
You will require an Enhanced DBS for this role so you will need to be able to supply the appropriate references. (DBS will be applied for and paid for by the company). 2 references will be needed.

- Proficient in English language
- Excellent communication skills

- Prior experience in cleaning or related field is a plus
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- Cleaning experience of at least 2 years is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right applicant.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
