We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and innovative manufacturing business committed to environmental responsibility and long-term sustainable growth. This is a newly created role, offering a genuine opportunity to make your mark.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, with support from the wider Group Purchasing function, you will:

* Support the procurement of key materials

* Take an active role in site-wide purchasing activities

* Ensure the right products are sourced at the right price and quality

* Build and maintain supplier relationships

* Support cost control and continuous improvement initiatives

* Contribute to purchasing strategy as the role evolves

This is a hands-on position with scope to grow, ideal for someone who wants exposure across the full purchasing lifecycle within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

About You

* 2–5 years’ experience in a purchasing / buying role

* Experience with in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred

* Studying towards or recently completed CIPS (or equivalent)

* Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills

* Organised, proactive and confident working on-site

* Eager to develop and take ownership in a newly formed role
