FLT / Material Handler

Location:

Leamington Spa
Pay Rate: £16.18 per hour
Shift Allowance: £115.35 per week (paid for completed shift rotations)

Shift Pattern This role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

Week 1 (Days)

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30

Friday: 06:00 - 12:00

Week 2 (Afternoons)

Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 23:00

Friday: 12:00 - 18:00

The Role Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced FLT / Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing environment in Leamington Spa. This is a hands-on role combining forklift operation with manual material handling, ensuring materials are moved safely and production is supplied efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading deliveries.

Supplying production areas with materials.

Transporting finished goods to storage locations.

Manual handling of materials weighing up to 25kg.

Accurately booking stock in and out.

Carrying out stock movements and inventory tasks.

Completing daily FLT safety checks.

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Following all health and safety procedures.

Requirements
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Comfortable with manual handling of loads up to 25kg.

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Able to work the rotating shift pattern.

Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
