We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to convert the top:level build plan into a stable, visible and executable production plan across manufacturing and sub:assembly areas. The Production Planner will ensure that customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and operational constraints are aligned to enable safe, efficient, and on:time delivery. This Production Planner position is ideal for someone with strong MRP knowledge, planning expertise and a proactive approach to driving operational performance.

- Produce and maintain a weekly fixed production plan aligned to customer demand within the agreed planning window.
- Confirm material availability ahead of production and resolve shortages before they impact build.
- Liaise with planning, production and material handling teams to ensure schedule alignment and clear work:to lists.
- Control schedule changes to minimise disruption across assembly and upstream manufacturing areas.
- Manage planning exceptions, expedite critical issues and complete root cause corrective actions.
- Utilise batching, product family loading and sequencing techniques to improve production flow and efficiency.
- Analyse production load, capacity and standard hours to support effective level loading.
- Maintain planning KPIs and use production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in a Production Planner role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong MRP planning capability.
- Experience in analysing production capacity, workload and resource planning.
- Ability to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confident working with production schedules, planning data and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to challenge issues affecting schedule stability.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on improving planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
