Were recruiting Assembly Technicians to join a well:established engineering business supplying high:quality products to some of the worlds most recognised automotive manufacturers. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a modern manufacturing environment while working as part of a friendly and dedicated team.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Assembling, fitting and testing components.
• Inspecting parts for damage or defects and completing production paperwork.
• Setting up and operating crimping machines, etchers and testing equipment.
• Picking and packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Working to production schedules and achieving daily targets.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Working independently while contributing positively within a team.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Assembly, fitting or quality inspection experience.
• The ability to read engineering drawings.
• A flexible approach with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high:quality work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties.

This is a full:time opportunity, 37.5 hrs working Monday :
Friday working rotating weekly shifts and overtime as required.

Week 1: 06:00 : 14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 : 12:10 on Friday : A GBP 13.20 p/h

Week 2: 14:00 : 22:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:10 : 18:20 on Friday : A GBP 15.84 p/h

As the shifts are weekly rotating, the pay rate averages out at A GBP 14.52 per hour
