In this role, you will have the freedom to carve out your own path, sourcing and converting new opportunities while managing and growing a strong portfolio of existing customers to achieve sales targets. The role:

Hunt new sales opportunities - proactive cold calling, this makes up 80% of the role.
Build and maintain relationships with customers.
Work alongside the Account Manager to produce quotations, assisting with queries.
Proactively identify and pursue lapsed, new and existing business opportunities.
Working towards KPI's - daily, weekly and monthly.
Record all communication accurately in the CRM system.
Conduct market research, including competitor analysis and prospecting for new opportunities. The candidate:

Must have a minimum of 24 months sales (cold calling) experience.
Must be self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
Understanding of CRM software such as SAP and Salesforce - desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain long term relationships with customers.
Full UK driving licence is required.
This role will suit a true hunter.
