Due to the continued success and expansion of the business we are looking for a Multi‑Skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team.
Reporting to the Contract Manager the Multi‑Skilled HVAC Engineer will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive tasks, from complex repairs to the resolution of minor plumbing issues. Due to the nature of the sites you will be required to work with security vetting – this is essential for the position.

Will be responsible for:
- Carrying out in‑depth and competent maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (specifically air handling and heat recovery units, fan coil units, chilled beam systems, air conditioning systems, as well as extract and supply fans).
- Maintaining the above equipment in line with contract specifications and industry guidelines whilst complying with company health and safety policies.
- Undertaking fault finding, repair and replacement of the above units as necessary.
- Being part of a mobile team responsible for maintenance of various sites.
- Working either as part of a maintenance team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or independently on minor works projects without local supervision.
- Source the correct parts from suppliers and assist with costings to be presented to the client.
- Meeting with a variety of clients to represent the company and remaining courteous and professional at all times.
- Accurately completing and submitting company documentation (hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
- Using own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
- Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point‑of‑work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
- Participating on the company's on‑call rota to provide the client with full out‑of‑hours cover.

About YouEssential Criteria
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Heating and Ventilation / Building Services Technician.
- FGAS 2079 minimum level 2.
- Hold a minimum of 3+ years experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to commercial planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
- Current full UK driver’s licence.
- Registered CSCS / CSR card or equivalent skill card.
- Be able to undertake non‑personnel police vetting level 2.
- IOHS working safely or CSCS card.
- Mechanical qualifications – unvented systems, legionella awareness, gas safe registration.
- IT skills in the use of PDAs.
- Asbestos awareness training.
