Description: The Assistant Scheduling Supervisor supports the Scheduling Supervisor in overseeing the coordination of client visits and staff scheduling activities. This role serves as a key support resource to ensure timely, accurate, and effective communication between the office, staff members, and clients/families. In addition to performing all the responsibilities and duties of a Staffing Coordinator, the Assistant Scheduling Supervisor provides guidance to the scheduling team on workload management, resource allocation, and adherence to departmental procedures in the Scheduling Supervisor’s absence.

The individual in this role helps reinforce scheduling standards, supports problem-solving, and promotes high-quality service delivery across the department. The Assistant Scheduling Supervisor reports to the Scheduling Supervisor and collaborates closely with the Director of Human Resources and Education, as well as peers and support staff, to promote a customer-focused and service-oriented scheduling department.

  • Location: 28000 Woodward Avenue, Suite 100, Royal Oak, Michigan, 48067
  • Schedule: Full-time position

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Two years of scheduling experience
  • Ability to read and write legibly, consistent with job requirements.
  • Ability to type 50 words per minute required.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.
