Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years documented experience within the occupational therapy field, encompassing clinical practice as an occupational therapist and administrative responsibilities such as program planning, personnel management, evaluation, budgeting, and substantial experience with occupational therapy assistants.
  • Minimum of 3 years full‑time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.
  • Preferred doctoral degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution recognized by the Department of Education (USDE) or an active pursuit of a doctoral degree; degree need not be limited to occupational therapy, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of our programs. A Master’s Degree is required.
  • Active licensure in the State of Michigan, complying with Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs regulations.
  • Current certification with NBCOT, underscoring commitment to professional standards and best practices.
