Location: Royal Oak Hospital – 3601 W 13 Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI

Employment Type: Part time

Schedule: Rotating shift, 20 hours per week, mostly 12:00 pm–10:00 pm or 2:00 pm–12:30 am. Weekend: every fourth weekend.

About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital: Opened Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238‑bed community hospital. Today the hospital is a 1,101‑bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. The facility hosts 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows, and is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 doctors on faculty.

Provides technical assistance in the documentation and clarification of medication history lists under the direction of the pharmacist. Processes, enters, and interprets physician/nurse medication histories, under the direction of the pharmacist, and completes full history documentation in a computerized system. Clarifies information through communication with providers, patients, and pharmacies. Performs special projects for the department. Works with multiple medication automation systems.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's Degree in health care or related field (preferred)
• 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience (required)
• 2 years of relevant retail pharmacy experience (preferred)
• LIC-Pharmacist Intern – State of Michigan (required) or
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician – State of Michigan (required) and
• CRT-Pharmacy Technician, Certified (CPHT) – PTCB (90 days required or
• CRT-Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) – NHA (90 days required)
