Pay: $20 per hour (Full-Time)
Hotel Royal Oak is a vibrant, mid-century-modern boutique hotel inspired by the energy of the 1960s music scene. We’re a fun, stylish, and guest-focused property, known for creating memorable stays for concertgoers, weekend travelers, and business guests alike.
Position OverviewWe’re looking for a reliable and skilled Facilities Technician to support our Facilities Manager in keeping Hotel Royal Oak running at its best. This role is a mix of preventative maintenance, day-to-day repairs, and responding quickly to guest room issues. You’ll work across all areas of the property to ensure our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and flawless stay.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Facilities Manager
- Respond promptly to guest room maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, furniture, etc.)
- Support upkeep of hotel systems, equipment, and building infrastructure
- Assist with fire safety, and building compliance checks
- Monitor and report maintenance needs and supply levels to the Facilities Manager
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop and storage areas
- Partner with the front desk and housekeeping teams to address guest concerns efficiently
- Follow safety standards and ensure all work meets brand quality guidelines
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or trades (hotel/hospitality experience preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently or under direction
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for full-time hours, with flexibility for occasional weekends or evenings if emergencies arise
- Reliable, professional, and guest-focused attitude
- Pay: $20 per hour
