Job DescriptionThis position supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network. Responsibilities include materials/supplies movement and replenishment to points of use, performing cycle counts and daily replenishment routines, and interacting with laboratory staff and supply analysts to ensure material availability.
Pay & BenefitsPay range: $17.20+ per hour, with potential annual performance bonus.

- Execute standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in the assigned region.
- Participate in internal work teams focused on continuous improvement of supply replenishment processes, targeting cost and cycle time reduction.
- Conduct regular physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain visual management tools (e.g., Kanban) and mistake‑proof initiatives (Labels with Photos).
- 1‑2 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems desired.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with all staff levels.
- Efficient planning and organizing skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Visio, etc.
