We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Nurse Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing wound care management, coordinating patient treatment plans, and ensuring high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic wounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for patients.
  • Coordinate wound care services among multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on wound prevention and management.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to promote healing and prevent complications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements related to wound care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and wound care research projects.
  • Serve as a resource and consultant for wound care issues within the facility.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Certification in wound care (e.g., WCC, CWS or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in wound care or related specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of wound healing processes, treatment modalities, and infection control.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation systems.

The Wound Nurse Coordinator will work primarily in a clinical setting, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. The role may require occasional travel between sites and the ability to manage multiple patients and priorities effectively.
