Description

(Hybrid Operations Role) Two Unique Catering Company is seeking a dependable, positive, and flexible Dishwasher & Facilities Support Team Member to join our culinary and operations team. This hybrid role is critical to the success of our daily production and event execution. The primary focus of this position is maintaining dishwashing operations and overall facility cleanliness, with secondary responsibilities including light food preparation, warehouse support, and deliveries as time and business needs allow.

This individual must have a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and the ability to follow direction while pivoting quickly to support the operation wherever help is needed.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (Priority Focus)

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish areas, kitchens, restrooms, hallways, and common work spaces
  • Ensure compliance with all health department, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Take ownership of facility cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation
  • Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper waste management

Secondary Responsibilities (As Time Allows)

  • Assist culinary team with basic food preparation tasks (washing, chopping, labeling, portioning)
  • Support warehouse operations including organizing equipment, inventory, packing, and staging for events
  • Assist with loading and unloading catering vehicles and event equipment
  • Perform general operational support duties as directed by management

Delivery & DOT Certification (Preferred)

  • Ability and willingness to meet DOT physical requirements is preferred
  • Clean driving record and Chauffeur’s License are required if pursuing DOT certification
  • DOT-certified team members may assist with catering deliveries and logistics
  • Certification may provide opportunities for additional responsibilities and compensation, based on business needs
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Positive attitude and strong team-first mindset
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and organization
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Prior dishwashing, kitchen, warehouse, or facilities experience is a plus but not required
