Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Overview
We have two projects that require software development in our Michigan Office. One is to update and maintain our legacy SQL database on our internal servers, currently operating on Windows Server 2008, and to migrate it to Azure. The second is to update our Android app, currently in Java, to match the look and functionality of our iOS app, which uses Swift
UI.
We are a leader in the Private Currency technology industry and need the right person to continue the development of our internal software. The ideal candidate is comfortable with development and database work and is looking to hone these skills while advancing our development goals. Projects are expected to begin within one month, and the candidate should be able to work onsite when needed.
QualificationsAnd Skills Required Skills
- Strong with Microsoft SQL Server and Access
- C# /
- Proficiency with legacy software
- Experience with software repositories such as Git
- Computer hardware knowledge
- Proficiency in app development
- Queuing systems such as RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with NuGet packages / creating packages
- Microsoft Access
- SSRS or Crystal Reports
- HTML and CSS
- Understanding of core accounting principles
- Basic computer troubleshooting
- MS Office
- iOS and Android app development
- 2 days per week, flexible 50/hr
