Durham School Services is hiring part‑time and seasonal School Bus Drivers in Royal Oak, MI. This role offers paid CDL training, flexible hours, a guaranteed 20 hours per week, and the opportunity to make a difference for students and families.

• Pay: $22.28 per hour
• Sign‑On Bonus: $1,500 for fully credentialed drivers

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes
• Transport students to and from school, sports, and events
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe bus environment
• Communicate courteously with students, parents, and school staff
• Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL required to start)
• Minimum 3 years of a driver’s license (5 years if applying in Tennessee)
• Minimum age: 21 (25 in Tennessee)
• Pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
• Compliance with DOT regulations (marijuana prohibited, even for medical use)
• Reliable attendance & safety‑first attitude
• Optional: experience in commercial driving (CDL‑A/B, delivery, shuttle, transit); veterans and military service members welcome; parents, retirees, students seeking part‑time or split‑shift work well‑suited
