TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a relaxed, independent firm of accountants based in Tunbridge Wells.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll primarily focus on accounts and tax work for owner managed businesses, with audit making up no more than 25% of your workload. This could suit someone who enjoys a mix of work and wants to maintain their audit experience alongside a broader accounts and tax role.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year end accounts for owner managed businesses.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting clients with tax compliance.
• Undertaking bookkeeping and VAT work where required.
• Supporting the planning and completion of audit assignments, representing up to 25% of your workload.
• Managing client relationships and responding to accounts and tax queries.
• Working closely with colleagues to manage deadlines and deliver an excellent service.

To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior opportunity, you’ll have:

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice across accounts, tax and audit.
• A strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance for owner managed businesses.
• The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Confidence communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.

• £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
