Tenax Schools Trust is looking for an experienced, detail-conscious administrator to join our expanding central services team. This is a busy and varied role, so you will be hard-working and flexible to work across a number of our central functions. You will be confident to use your initiative, whilst knowing when to seek support from colleagues or leaders. Your role will not be boring, and two days are rarely the same.
We find this exciting and are looking for someone who can share that.
We need someone who can bring warmth and empathy to the role and be resilient to manage workload peaks, whilst still delivering a first-class service. As a small but growing central team, you will be flexible to lend a hand where needed.
You will work closely with, and report to the Head of Governance and Compliance, supporting the administration of a wide range of central service areas, including administration of complaints, policy changes, training records, incident reports etc. You will also attend meetings of at least two local committees as their note-taker and administrator. This will involve a commitment to some evening working, planned up to a year in advance.
All Tenax staff are committed to our mission to achieve excellence together and deliver a transformative education to every child. You will deliver excellence in your day-to-day activities, knowing that you help facilitate our school-based teams to focus on the direct delivery of that mission.
We know we are looking for someone special and in return we can offer flexible working arrangements to work around school hours if required, and the ability to take time back from evening duties to attend family events or simply catch up on personal time. We offer access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, a defined benefit pension scheme, with a generous employer contribution of 20% and access to an employee assistance scheme.
For full details of this role please see our candidate pack for this role.
Tenax Schools Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and all applicants are expected to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to pre-employment checks, including satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check. More information on our recruitment checks can be found in the candidate pack for this post.
We are committed to creating inclusive teams that represent a breadth of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, and that can provide role models to all students in our communities.
