This specialist SEN school for students aged 11-19 with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is committed to preparing young people for life beyond education. - Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, fostering learning and independence.
- Assist with classroom management and create a calm, supportive environment.
- Prepare tailored resources and support communication and social skills development.
- Build meaningful relationships with students, staff, therapists, and families.
- Experience working with young people in SEN settings-or a strong passion for special education.
- Patience, empathy, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and readiness to contribute to a supportive, inclusive team.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
