Overview
SEN Tutor Needed - Make a Real Difference in Tunbridge Wells! Start date - ASAP. Salary - Up to £30 hourly rate. Are you a passionate SEN Tutor looking to transform a young person s educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to support a child in Tunbridge Wells with GCSE Maths and English. This role is ideal for a patient, creative, and empathetic tutor who thrives on helping learners build confidence and achieve success.
You will provide tailored, one-to-one support designed around the child s individual needs, learning style, and pace.
- Deliver engaging GCSE Maths and English sessions
- Adapt teaching strategies to support additional learning needs
- Build trust, confidence, and motivation
- Track progress and celebrate achievements
- Work closely with family and professionals to ensure consistent support
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths & English curricula
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
- Ability to make learning accessible and enjoyable
- Relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications (preferred but not essential)
