Teacher Active is proud to be working with an Outstanding secondary school based in the Tunbridge Wells area. The school provides students with a warm and encouraging environment, with a curriculum designed to challenge young people and support their academic and personal development.

The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a full-time, short-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Humanities Teacher will deliver engaging Humanities lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and support students to make strong progress throughout their learning.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have:

QTS with a relevant Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Strong communication and organisational skills
