Engage Education is working with a large, welcoming three form entry primary school in South Manchester that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Graduate This is an excellent opportunity to build valuable school-based experience while making a genuine difference to pupils’ learning and development.

You’ll be working across the school, supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The role offers a mix of classroom support, intervention work and one-to-one assistance, making no two days the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a one to one basis and in small intervention groups
• Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Helping children develop confidence in literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum subjects
• Supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
• Preparing classroom resources and maintaining an engaging learning environment
• Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children reach their full potential

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering teacher training, educational psychology, speech and language therapy or a long-term career within education.

• A graduate in any subject relevant to working with children
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Confident, proactive and eager to get involved in school life
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A strong communicator with good literacy and numeracy skills
• Looking to gain meaningful classroom experience in a supportive school
