Carrington West are pleased to be working with an established, family-run architectural practice in Tunbridge Wells seeking an in-house Town Planner to join their friendly team. With over 40 years in the industry, this firm has built a reputation for quality and attention to detail. You'll be joining a close-knit team and stepping into a key role within the business.

About the Role:

As their dedicated Planner, you'll be responsible for managing planning applications and driving the planning function forward. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants real autonomy and the chance to shape how planning is delivered in-house.

Project Types Include:

Residential: new builds, extensions, listed buildings, and heritage sites

Other sectors: schools, commercial properties, and occasional rail projects

What They're Looking For:

Previous experience in a town planning role

Strong understanding of planning applications and UK planning policy

MRTPI is preferred but not essential

A proactive, confident planner who can manage their own workload
