Engineering Sub Agent, Civil Engineering

Sub Agent - Leading Civils Contractor - East Sussex, Surrey or Kent

My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company.

They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Sub Agent to work on projects in the southeastern region, particularly in the Counties of East Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

The company specialises in the following sectors:

• Highways & Structures
• Infrastructure & Public Realm
• Ports, Rivers & Marine
• Environment Agency Projects
• MOD & Defence
• Aviation
• Water & Wastewater

Initially, the successful individual will be assisting the existing site team who are in the process of delivering a large development infrastructure project.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects.

My client is open minded and would consider individuals with circa 4‑5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Section / Senior Engineer or someone already in the role.

• Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
• Assist in production and integration of 3‑week programmes
• Manage designs from the in‑house and external designers
• Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
• Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
• Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
• Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
• Managing RFI's and Technical Queries

• Experience of delivering civil engineering projects
• Circa 4‑5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Section/Senior Engineer or similar
• Ability to assist site team with delivery of large development infrastructure projects
