Job overview:

Due to an internal promotion, we’re pleased to offer a full-time, permanent Customer Sales Representative role at AXA Global Healthcare in Tunbridge Wells. In this position, you’ll work alongside our International Sales team, converting warm leads via phone and email on behalf of our sales professionals. This role is designed to support your growth and development, with the potential to progress into a full sales position within our dynamic Global Sales teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • Connecting customers with the appropriate sales departments, enabling our driven sales team to convert these opportunities to sales.
  • Offering global health insurance policies, gaining exposure to our growing global market and being supported every step of the way.
  • Being responsible for lead generation through following up warm leads.
  • Outbound calling warm leads and sending email correspondence daily to ensure the customer is directed to the appropriate team.
  • Using your excellent communication skills to understand the customer’s needs, actively listening and questioning whilst building rapport.
Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Working

Hours & Shift Pattern:

You’ll work full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with shifts between 8am and 5pm.

Your skills & experience:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, either in person or over the phone, is essential.
  • Skilled at engaging with diverse individuals via phone and email, simplifying complex information, and following structured call guides.
  • Customer focused, with the ability to build rapport, whilst conducting yourself in a professional manner.
  • Proficient at managing multiple IT applications simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Experience in a sales environment and/or Knowledge of insurance would be advantageous.

The first stage of the interview process is an Arctic Shores Assessment, which you'll have2daysto complete. If shortlisted, the next stage will be a virtual interview.

If successful following this, the final stage will be an in-person interview at our Tunbridge office.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
