Our Therapeutic Alliance brings together skilled counsellors and dedicated administrative support to ensure young people can access the right help, at the right time. We offer flexible support including school-based sessions, community-based counselling and secure online appointments.

About

The Role
  • Deliver one‑to‑one counselling sessions and structured DBT/CBT‑informed group programmes for children and young people.
  • Create safe, supportive therapeutic environments that encourage emotional expression, resilience and growth.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records including assessments, consent, session notes and evaluation tools.
  • Work across schools, community settings and online platforms with flexibility, including evening delivery.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities by identifying and escalating concerns in line with policy and guidance.
  • Contribute to service development through reflective practice, KPI reporting and participation in supervision and CPD.
About You
  • You are qualified to at least Level 4 in Counselling, with a Level 5 (or equivalent) Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People.
  • You are registered with BACP or UKCP and committed to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
  • You have experience delivering counselling to children and young people.
  • You can deliver both individual and group therapeutic sessions, including CBT‑informed and DBT‑informed approaches.
  • You are confident handling safeguarding concerns, maintaining confidentiality and keeping accurate clinical records.
  • You’re someone who wants to grow, you’re keen to learn, open to feedback, and looking for a role where you can develop your skills and make a long‑term impact.
