Fit-Out Senior Estimator

Overview

Estimator or Quantity Surveyor required to join a joinery fit-out company.

• Attending initial site surveys/scope of works meetings at tender stage
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
• Tender adjudication and procurement of subcontractors
• Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
• Commercial management of subcontractors
• Prepare and present project cost reports
• Valuing completed work as terms agreed and arranging invoicing with the accounts dept
• Identify and track additional costs and variations not included in the original estimate for onward approval and charge to the customer
• Preparing detailed cost progress reports
• Negotiation of final accounts

• strong fit out experience across ceilings, floorings, wall finishes, mechanical, electrical
• Quantity Surveying Or Estimator or Commercial management Degree
• Working in a similar role as a Quantity Surveyor OR Estimator
• Experience working on
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within Quantity Surveying/Estimating.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
